We use mobile home type aluminum windows

Can I get vinyl or wooden windows instead?

Yes. We can install most any type window at an additional charge.

Can I get a house-type door instead of the standard barn-type door?

Yes, single and double metal house-type doors are available

Can I get a wooden house door instead?

Yes, we can install most any type or size door at an additional charge.

Can I get it with a pressure treated plywood floor?

Yes, fo an additional charge.

Can I get it without a floor?

No, the buildings are not stable without a floor and it cannot be hauled.

Can I provide the shingles for the roof?

Yes, we can install customer's shingles for an additional charge. Or, we can leave the roof without shingles and you may finish it with your shingles.

Do I need vents?

We recommend two vents to be installed in each building (one vent in each gable). Two vents are standard in all our buildings.

Can you put on Ridgecap Vents?

Yes, the cost is $50.00 per 8 feet.

What's the difference in a Standard Barn and High Barn or A-Roof?

The Standard Barn gives you 7 foot ceilings at the highest point and is excellent for mowers, motorcycles, or general storage. High Barns and A-Roofs have taller sidewalls and up to a 10'3" peak height. They are excellent for overhead lofts and storage.

Can you build one on site?

Yes, but site-built buildings run 25% more than our standard pricing.

I see one on the lot I like, but I need a larger size and would like some features added. Can I special order a building?

Yes, special orders require a deposit prior to ordering.

Do I need a permit in North Carolina?

Yes, if building is over 12' in either direction, you are supposed to get a permit. It is up to you to check with your county or city.

Do I need a permit in Virginia?

Yes, if building is over 150 sq. ft., you are supposed to get a permit. It is up to you to check with your county or city.

Will the building need to be anchored?

Check with county or city zoning department when obtaining your permit. Normally, buildings 144 square feet or less do not require anchoring.

How about housing developments and property restrictions?

In North Carolina and Virginia, some property has been restricted as to what can be placed or constructed on it. This is especially true if you live in a housing development and are considering the purchase of an aluminum building. Check your deed for restrictions or check with the Home Owners Association in your development. You may need prior approval before purchasing a building.

Why should I purchase a building from you when I can get one cheaper?

When considering the purchase of a storage building, shop around and compare how the buildings are constructed and what kind of materials are used. 24" Centers-vs-16" Centers: 99% of building companies use 24" Centers because that is what is required. We construct our buildings more like a house on 16" Centers. Also, flooring, side and end walls, and doors in our buildings are much heavy duty. (Above does not apply to all styles)

Do you finance buildings?

We finance through American General Finance in Reidsville. In most cases they require 10% down. The interest rate is 18%. We also offer "90 days same as cash" through American General.

What kind of options are available for the storage buildings?

Paint, windows, lofts, doors (single or double), metal house doors (single or double), garage door, vinyl siding, extra heavy flooring, shelves, vents, workbench, ramp, anchoring, flower boxes, and porches.

Do the buildings come with a warranty?

Yes, for 3 years against any defect that is due to poor workmanship, inferior building materials, or roof leakage. The conditions do not apply when the building has been subject to abuse or any act of God.
